Introducing Ute Rehill, A New Addition To The Team

After a long season of vacancy, it is my pleasure to introduce Ute Rehill, the newest addition to Opportunity International Canada who is joining our team as the Director of Philanthropy for Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Ute joins the team after being a donor for over 15 years, and a very engaged volunteer since the end of 2019. It is truly a gift to welcome a new member of the team who embodies the vision and values that Opportunity holds dear.

Ute retired from Scotiabank in 2018 after a very successful 37 year career that culminated in her serving as VP Commercial Banking for Manitoba and Saskatchewan for the final four years of her tenure. She has also served in a number of non-profit organizations over the last 20 years which included extensive work in helping to fundraise and at one point Ute served as the Board Chair for Open Doorways Orphanage in Haiti. 

Ute is passionate about the work of Opportunity. A Christ-follower she really wants to spend the next season of her life using her gifts to make a difference. As a respected community leader she has garnered credibility & respect from the business and faith community in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Furthermore, Ute is bilingual – she speaks German fluently and is also making progress towards learning Spanish. We could not be more thrilled to have her on our team.
